Check Out these Bonus Tips for Making Your Next Horse Show Series Memorable for Riders & Stress-Free for You
- Shop around for ribbons, you never know where you might find a great deal!
- Make it memorable: get creative with prizes to incentivize entries
- For a jumper show, have your courses test-ridden to see if you’re asking appropriate questions for each level you’re offering.
- Encourage guests to tidy up after themselves, make it simple by setting out trash cans (weighted, so they won’t spook horses in case of high winds!) and muck tubs.Â
- Purchase extra toilet paper. It’s unglamorous and easy to forget!
- Talk to your vet & farrier about being On Call during your events. You never know what might happen!
- Say ‘thank you’. To your volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, and everyone involved in making the day go smoothly
