ActiveCampaign

STRIDER Business Tip: use the up/down arrows to select the scenerios you want to achieve.

Generally you want the workflow to trigger when you get an email from Strider with particular words in the subject line.

Then Zapier reads the email, parses out the data you want to save, and sends it to your email marketing program. Success!

Recommended email subject lines to use:

  • “You Have A Paid Entry”
  • “You’ve Got A  Registration”
  • “You’ve Got An Entry Deposit”
  • “Entry Details-Payment via Check”

How difficult is it to set up?

Most marketing experts budget @ 30 minutes to configure Zapier and connect it to the various programs.  If you’re an equestrian business owner trying to do your own tech support, give yourself more latitude.

Typically the Zapier setup works best after you’ve already started receiving entries on Strider.  That’s because you’ll need a sample Strider email in your gmail account to be “read”.  The sample tells Zapier where to locate the email and rider names moving forward.

P.S.- keep in mind you ask professional horse trainers to help you with your horse all the time.  And you’ve been working with horses for eons.

Asking for outside technology support is no different. Call in the reinforcements as needed!
