When you are featured as a Panelist on Zoom, there are a couple best practices for success.
- Download & Install the application on the computer you’ll be using (a day or two prior.)
- Configure your video settings. Here’s a great screen share to show you how.
Make sure you’ve selected:
- Touch up my appearance
- Adjust for low light (Auto or Manual)
- Always show video preview dialogue
3. Select a Virtual Background. You can upload a branded wallpaper (test it first ) or when unsure, just use “Blur”
Keep in mind that outside light will change in the evening….have a table lamp on in front of you to avoid looking like you are in the Witness Protection Program.
