Tip # 1: Use a Coat Conditioner

“At the end of every grooming I always finish the coat with a coat conditioner spray. This typically comes in a concentrated form, so mix with plenty of water to keep the greasy residue at bay! Spray directly onto a groomed coat and then buff with a soft brush to get that show-ready shine”

BONUS: It also helps to reduce static during dry seasons

Recommended Product: GLOSSY, Gloss Enhancing Coat Tonic from Ecolicious Equestrian.

Tip #2: Use Baby Powder  to Prevent Rubs

“Baby powder on the back, where the saddle goes can be extremely helpful for preventing rubs- especially on freshly clipped horses.”

Tip # 3: Use A Conditioner Weekly
For tails that are prone to breaking or thinning I like to use a conditioner after washing at least once a week”

Step 1: Wash the tail

Step 2: Apply Conditioner & Knot the Tail (wash the rest of the horse)

Step 3: Rinse!

Recommended Product: “Human conditioner works great!”

The conditioner will keep the hair strong, healthy and full of shine.
