Refund Processing
Under our User Terms, the Strider Member/”Organizer” is responsible for providing any applicable Refund to riders or participants associated with transactions handled under their Strider account.
The PayPal & Strider processing fees are non-refundable to the rider. Â This is clearly disclosed on the checkout page when the rider pays.
You agree that as Organizer you will promptly provide any applicable refunds directly to the Buyer and/or promptly resolve any refund concerns for an activity you posted.
You agree to ensure a clear and specific Refund Policy on any activity you post.
You agree to issue applicable Refunds to buyers either through PayPal, mailed check or electronic means.
Here’s a quick guide on how to issue them from inside your PayPal account..
If you refuse to provide a valid refund to a Buyer in a timely manner based on the Refund Policy posted in your activity announcement or the Terms outlined in this agreement, we may choose to provide it on your behalf.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to seek reimbursement from an Organizer in any of the following circumstances:
(a) we provide a refund to a buyer because a Organizer did not promptly deliver the services/goods or we otherwise determine that a refund is warranted in a particular circumstance,
(b) we discover erroneous or duplicate transactions related to a Organizer,
(c) we receive a chargeback from a buyer’s credit card issuer or reversal of payment for the amount of a buyer’s purchase from a Organizer, or
(d) a Organizer does not act in accordance with STRIDER™’s policies.
We may obtain reimbursement of any amounts owed by a Organizer to STRIDER™ by deducting from future payments owed to the Organizer, plus a $45 administrative fee, reversing any credits to the Organizer’s payment account balance, charging the Organizer’s payment account, or seeking reimbursement from the Organizer by any other lawful means, including by using third-party collections services. You authorize us to use any or all of the foregoing methods to seek reimbursement. STRIDER™ may suspend your selling privileges at any time pending payment of your outstanding balance.
You agree to fully indemnify STRIDER™ and its affiliates for refunds, errors in issuing refunds, or lack of refunds in connection with the use of any payment option.
You further agree that you will limit the occurrence of charge back disputes from Buyers to STRIDER™. In the event that a buyer submits a chargeback, STRIDER™ will respond to the payment networks on behalf of the Organizer involved in the transaction; the Organizer agrees to provide any requested information to us within five calendar days of the request. STRIDER™ reserves the right to recoup funds associated with buyer chargebacks, plus a $45 per transaction administrative processing fee. You agree to fully indemnify STRIDER™ and its affiliates for chargebacks issued in the course of the use of our StriderPay™ service.
STRIDER™ reserves the right to terminate the account of any Member whose actions result in excessive chargeback disputes filed against STRIDER™.
