Can we set up a PayPal account just For STRIDER?

Yes!  PayPal now allows multiple accounts on the same EIN #. 

If you are a branch of non-profit or chapter of a larger organization, just make sure to use the parent name, not your branch/chapter’s name on the account. Do NOT use your local “Doing Business As” name.

That way the EIN matches the organization’s legal name and StriderPay approval is easy.

PayPal will handle consolidate all accounting/IRS forms for you to the same EIN #.  

How will our Treasurer/Accountant know the payment is for a Strider Platform Activity?

STRIDER’s integration with PayPal ensures  easy accounting on every transaction, regardless of what payment method the rider selects at checkout. 

At any time, you can see exactly what the rider paid for inside your PayPal account. 

  • From inside your PayPal account, simply click on each transaction to pull up the full details- sample below .
  • You’ll see the exact Strider selection name next to every item paid for.
