- Send an invite to someone else to set it up on their account
Either way- once active-you’ll be able to accept rider payments from credit/debit cards, Venmo, or PayPal- all into one easy, convenient location.
🚀 Inside your STRIDER account:
Go to the “Payments” tab
Click “Connect an Account” or “Email Invite to Connect Account”
Enter the email address linked to your PayPal account
Follow the prompts on the pop-up screen to complete the connection
📧 If you send an invite, the PayPal account holder will receive an email with a secure link to connect their account to STRIDER.
What You’ll Need
Before you start, make sure you have the following on hand:
🔐 Login Credentials
- Email account login
- PayPal account login
- Bank account login (PayPal needs a deposit destination)
🏢 Business or Association Details
- Type of entity: Non-profit, sole proprietor, LLC, C-Corp, etc.
- Legal business name (must match IRS records — not your DBA)
- EIN or SSN (must match the legal name)
- Names of owners or officers
Identity Verification
- Driver’s license and date of birth for the person responsible for the account setup
⚠️ Important Setup Tip
- When prompted by PayPal, be sure to enable “Advanced credit/debit card processing.” This is the only way STRIDER can protect you from absorbing merchant fees.
If you see: “We’re reviewing now” that means PayPal needs more info to approve you.
➨ Log into PayPal and check for an account message. Submit the requested info promptly.
