Setting Entries to “Invite Only” with StriderInvite
With Strider, you can easily make your event “Invite-Only,” which lets you restrict who can register for certain activities. This feature is perfect for offering early access to your most loyal riders or clients.
What does “Invite Only” do?
When you turn on this feature, only riders (those entering on horseback) will need a passcode to sign up. However, auditor or general attendance tickets won’t need a passcode and will still be open for anyone to buy.
How to Turn It On:
When creating or editing your event, simply check the box that says “Entries Accepted by Invitation Only.”
Set a passcode and publish your event.
Once done, your registration page button will show “INVITE ONLY.”
Pro Tip: The passcode is case-sensitive, so be sure to tell your invitees exactly what it is!
How to Turn It Off:
If you change your mind and want to open up registration to everyone, just uncheck the “Invite Only” box and republish your event.
Next Steps:
To send out invites to your riders, email them the link to your event page along with the passcode. They’ll need the code to access the entry form and register.
Want to Make Changes?
No worries! You can edit your settings at any time by going to your Organizer’s Corner. Just click the edit icon, make your changes, and republish.
