How to Schedule Facebook & Instagram Posts

You can easily set up your social media posts well ahead of time to announce, market, remind, and invite riders nationwide to enter your activity.

If you’re not familiar with social media, don’t worry—it’s simple! Here’s a step-by-step guide to sharing your STRIDER event and boosting your entries:

*Note:  Facebook Business Suite’s post scheduling feature only works on Facebook & Instagram business pages, not personal pages.

 

 

 

  1. Copy Your STRIDER Activity Link: Go to your activity page on STRIDER and copy the link in the browser’s URL field.

  2. Log into Facebook: Open Facebook and access Facebook Business Suite (this is where you can manage posts for your business).

  3. Create a Post: Click Create Post and paste the STRIDER link you copied. Your specific event details, including a preview of your activity, will automatically show up. Be sure to choose a great photo to showcase your event!

  4. Add a Caption: Write any additional information you’d like to include in the post. PRO TIP: Tag your facility sponsors and partners to give them extra visibility.

    5.) Click the blue arrow next to <Publish> to select your preferred publishing time.

    You can review your scheduled posts across both platforms via Facebook Business Suite at any time.

Bonus Tip: You can also schedule the post to Instagram at the same time! Just remember, Instagram doesn’t allow clickable links in captions, so you can either add the STRIDER link to your Instagram profile or direct people to striderpro.com to easily find and register for your activities.
